Audrey Gadzekpo, Ph.D., is a Professor of Communication Studies at the Department of Communication Studies and former Dean of the School of Information and Communication Studies, University of Ghana. She has close to 30 years of experience in teaching, research and advocacy, primarily on media, gender development and governance issues, and almost 35 years practical experience as a media practitioner. She obtained a doctorate degree in African Studies from the University of Birmingham, U.K., a Master of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University, Utah, USA and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Ghana.
