Miss Naomi Alareba Kandawini is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural and Food Economics of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, Ghana. She has two years of university teaching and research experience. She has provided instructions in Introduction to Agricultural Economics, Principles of Microeconomics, Applied Statistics and Social Research, Macroeconomic Theory, Agricultural Marketing, and International Commodity Trade. Miss Kandawini has carried out research on various aspects of agricultural economics including technical efficiency, agricultural household welfare, credit accessibility, impact and the socioeconomic impact of sand weaning. Her current research interests are consumer behaviour and household welfare, artisanal mining and macroeconomic policy. She has been involved in collaborative research and outreach with USAID, ACDI/VOCA, DANIDA and JAKSALLY.
