DARAP policy forum draws media attention

The DARAP Ghana agrifood systems research dissemination and policy forum attracted a significant number of media representatives, fostering engagements between researchers and the media. Held on March 26, 2024 at Alisa Hotel in Accra, the event reaffirmed the project's commitment to collaborating with the media as essential partners in disseminating valuable insights to the public.

The participation of journalists from various print, broadcast, and online platforms further underscored the widespread interest in DARAP's efforts to drive transformative change in Ghana's agrifood landscape.

Following the typical approach of DARAP stakeholder engagement activities, the forum featured a dedicated media engagement session. During this session, the researchers actively engaged with media representatives, granting interviews to clarify key points and provide additional context to enhance effective reportage. These interactions not only facilitated a deeper understanding of the research findings but also ensured that accurate and comprehensive information reached a wider audience.
